Mkomazi is less crowded than many northern safari routes and is known for dry savannah scenery, wildlife, rhino and wild dog conservation areas, and a quieter safari atmosphere. Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Zanzibar to Kilimanjaro Airport, Arusha Reception and Overnight

   Pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your domestic flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. On arrival at JRO, meet your mainland safari team and transfer toward Arusha. Depending on arrival time, you may enjoy a short city visit, market stop, or relaxed hotel time before dinner and overnight stay.

2. Day 2 - Arusha National Park Safari and Overnight in Moshi

   After breakfast, visit Arusha National Park for a safari experience close to Mount Meru. The park offers forest, lakes, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, monkeys, birds, and beautiful views. Depending on final arrangement, optional walking safari with an armed ranger or canoe activity may be possible. Later, continue to Moshi for dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy game drives through dry savannah landscapes with chances to see wildlife and learn about the park conservation work.

Before you book

Pickup

Zanzibar hotel pickup and airport transfer are arranged after flight availability is checked. The exact pickup time, airport and any location supplement are confirmed in writing before payment.

Start time

Early departure is normally required. Final hotel pickup and flight times are confirmed after airline and supplier availability is secured.

Private / shared

Private safari vehicle unless the confirmed quotation states a shared arrangement. Domestic flights may carry other passengers.

Guide language

Live tour guidance and booking communication are provided in English. Another guide language is available only when Kofia confirms it in writing before payment.

Children

Children may join when the airline, park, accommodation and itinerary permit. Send each child age and travel document details before confirmation. Child fare, seat, room and safety requirements are quoted in writing.

Cancellation

The quotation will show the cancellation terms before payment. Issued flights, park fees, permits and reserved accommodation may be non-refundable or date-restricted. If a guest cancels, Kofia refunds any recoverable balance after disclosed supplier charges. A booking request alone has no cancellation charge.

Weather

Safety and official operating decisions come first. Wildlife sightings and exact routes are never guaranteed. Airline, park or supplier disruptions follow the written quotation; Kofia will offer the available reroute, reschedule or refund for any recoverable unprovided service.

Payment

Flights, permits and accommodation are secured only after the required deposit or payment. The written quotation states the amount, due date, currency, payment method and supplier conditions. Fare changes before ticketing may require a revised quotation. Never pay an account or link that Kofia has not confirmed.

Confirmation

Kofia normally acknowledges the request quickly and aims to send a complete quotation within 24 hours after checking flights and suppliers. The safari is confirmed only after written confirmation and any required payment.
