Blue Lagoon, Starfish & Kuza Cave Tour

Overview

This south-east coast route combines shallow-water snorkeling around the Blue Lagoon area, respectful observation of sea stars when naturally present, and a freshwater swim at Kuza Cave near Jambiani. Sea stars must remain in the water and should never be removed or handled for photographs. Visibility, snorkeling time, the order of stops and access depend on tide, weather, sea conditions and attraction availability. Wildlife and sea-star sightings are natural and cannot be guaranteed.

Before you book

Pickup

Pickup can be arranged across Zanzibar. The final price depends on hotel location, boat arrangement, attraction fees and group size; any supplement is confirmed before payment.

Start time

The start time is tide-dependent and is confirmed after the travel date, hotel area, sea forecast and boat schedule are checked.

Private / shared

The displayed launch price is for a private arrangement based on the confirmed minimum group and pickup zone. A shared departure is offered only when a suitable group, supplier and schedule are confirmed in writing.

Guide language

Live tour guidance and booking communication are provided in English. Another guide language is available only when Kofia confirms it in writing before payment.

Children

Children are welcome when the activity is suitable. Send every child age before confirmation. Child price, vehicle seat, life-jacket, swimming ability and attraction requirements are confirmed in writing before payment.

Cancellation

A booking request can be cancelled without charge before written confirmation and payment. After confirmation, cancellation is free until 48 hours before the start, less any supplier cost disclosed as non-refundable before payment. Cancellation 24 to 48 hours before start is charged 50%; within 24 hours or no-show is non-refundable. Date changes depend on availability.

Weather

This experience operates only when tide, sea and weather conditions are suitable. Kofia may adjust the stop order, replace an unsafe water stop, reschedule or cancel. Wildlife and sea-star sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Payment

After availability and the final price are confirmed in writing, Kofia sends the approved payment method and any required deposit. The confirmation states the currency, amount paid, remaining balance and due date. Never pay an account or link that Kofia has not confirmed.

Confirmation

Kofia normally replies within 2 hours between 07:00 and 22:00 East Africa Time. Late-night requests are handled the next morning. The experience is confirmed only after written confirmation and any required payment.
