The exact aquarium, interaction rules and included activities are stated before payment; touching, feeding or swimming with turtles is never promised unless the selected facility permits it and Kofia confirms it in writing. The dhow cruise depends on safe sea and weather conditions, and a private boat can be quoted separately.

Before you book
- Pickup
- The proposed launch price includes Nungwi and Kendwa pickup. Hotels elsewhere in Zanzibar require a transport supplement confirmed before payment.
- Start time
- The afternoon pickup time is confirmed according to hotel area, aquarium opening hours, sunset time, weather and dhow schedule.
- Private / shared
- The displayed launch price includes a shared sunset dhow seat. The aquarium and land transport are arranged for the confirmed booking; a private dhow is available only when quoted in writing.
- Guide language
- Live tour guidance and booking communication are provided in English. Another guide language is available only when Kofia confirms it in writing before payment.
- Children
- Children are welcome when the activity is suitable. Send every child age before confirmation. Child price, vehicle seat, life-jacket, swimming ability and attraction requirements are confirmed in writing before payment.
- Cancellation
- A booking request can be cancelled without charge before written confirmation and payment. After confirmation, cancellation is free until 48 hours before the start, less any supplier cost disclosed as non-refundable before payment. Cancellation 24 to 48 hours before start is charged 50%; within 24 hours or no-show is non-refundable. Date changes depend on availability.
- Weather
- The aquarium section may still operate if the dhow cannot sail. When sea or weather conditions are unsafe, Kofia offers a route adjustment, rescheduled cruise or refund for the recoverable unprovided cruise service.
- Payment
- After availability and the final price are confirmed in writing, Kofia sends the approved payment method and any required deposit. The confirmation states the currency, amount paid, remaining balance and due date. Never pay an account or link that Kofia has not confirmed.
- Confirmation
- Kofia normally replies within 2 hours between 07:00 and 22:00 East Africa Time. Late-night requests are handled the next morning. The experience is confirmed only after written confirmation and any required payment.

Which turtle aquarium is visited?
Kofia names the selected Nungwi facility in the written confirmation because entry conditions and interaction rules can differ.
Can I swim with or feed turtles?
Only when the named facility permits it and Kofia confirms it in writing. The tour does not automatically promise touching, feeding or swimming.
Is the dhow private?
The proposed launch price includes a shared dhow seat. A private dhow can be quoted separately, subject to availability and weather.
What happens if the dhow cannot sail?
Kofia can adjust or reschedule the cruise or refund the recoverable unprovided cruise service while keeping the aquarium visit if the guest accepts that arrangement.
